Newton Highlands Congregational Church, UCC, congregants gathered after worship on Sunday, June 1, 2025, to help launch Community Connection, a landscape master planning process with landscape architect Karen Sebastian and design builder and restoration contractor David Nauss.
About 20 church members and friends got an overview of a process that will include several group brainstorming sessions in the fall. Attendees shared some initial ideas and walked outside on a cool and windy day to view the church entry with the two consultants.
Ideas for improving the church’s interior and exterior have been under consideration since 2022.
