For several Sundays in October Newton Highlands Congregational Church, UCC, distributed a short survey to ask about priorities, values, and simply what people are doing and thinking about NHCC post-Covid, and these days. We have about 30 responses. If you did not get one to fill in, please contact us so we can send it to you.
One question was and is whether folks would answer a longer survey, led by our Deacons. So far everyone has said yes. This is not a campaign, not a stewardship drive, but frankly a listening project. So let us know if you can still respond to a short survey. And when a member of NHCC contacts you to listen, please welcome them for an after-hour visit, a home visit, coffee/tea together, because as a Congregational church we are guided by how the Holy Spirit guides each of us and all of us together. We hope you hear from one of us soon.
Finally, one of the questions on the longer survey is “Would you like a visit from the pastor?” You can tell us that any time of the year, so, let us know about that, too.
