Through the efforts of the Buildings & Grounds Committee, repair work has begun on the church windows.
The vendor is repairing frames, sills (especially the Hyde window), and storm windows for the Parlor and Great Hall. They will continue with other windows. This repair work will preserve the windows so they endure. The vendor is bringing in a lead consultant to check the windows near the preschool. They are also refinishing the oak doors perpendicular to Lincoln Street.
The window project, which will cost about $50,000, will reduce drafts; it is expected to reduce future energy costs.
