Buy a pack of colorful NHCC note cards and support the outreach work being done this year to celebrate the church’s 150th anniversary.
The cards were designed by Zachary Dietrich, son of Melissa and Lars Dietrich, using designer pens/markers. Zachary is a sophomore at Washington University in St. Louis studying architecture in the Sam Fox School of Design and Visual Arts. He graduated from Newton South High School in 2021.
According to Melissa, “Zach has been interested in architecture since a young age. As a child, he loved to draw using different media.” She added, “He was thrilled to be able to express a view of the church for this note card in honor of our 150 anniversary!”
Ten-packs of cards are available for purchase during fellowship time for $10/$15/$25.
Goals for the 150th year events are as follows:
- Appreciate and celebrate the history of NHCC
- Reflect on how this history inspires the future
- Encourage members to reconnect
- Increase church visibility in Newton
