In unprecedented times we’re all making adjustments. Worship and church school operate with spacing and other safe practices, and we want all of our members and friends to know that our staff is as safe to be around as possible. Therefore our Council voted on a vaccination policy unanimously on September 16, 2021.
Staff must receive the coronavirus vaccine by October 20 in order to continue serving our congregation. Of course this is widespread and familiar in Massachusetts, and wise in general. It will take some adjustments as we catch up. For example, Yevgenia Semeina is extending her maternity leave for another month. Meanwhile, with thirteen people serving the parish in various professional capacities, we are caring for our staff and our congregation in this unusual time, and praying that all be well through the fall and winter.
